Saturday, March 2, 2002. A-SIG hopefuls gather expectantly at the boathouse
parking lot. What are they in for? What will the coming weeks bring? All
sorts of hazing and rituals.
Here Timothy Baer does the name-on-tape, tape-on-helmet thing. No one
got around this one.
A-SIG Captain Damon addresses the troops.
He explains how, "We will own your Saturdays . . ." and other
pertinent stuff.
Leader Becky Koh hands out route sheets.
Dan Keating does the same. We did ride that day. No pictures of it though.
Diners figured prominently in those first rides. Eventually we started
concentrating on cycling rather than eating and the A-SIG was really underway.
